Jo Saunders, B.A. B.Ed.
Assistant Program Director Jo Saunders is our Australian super leader! Her natural abilities with groups and charming demeanour are outstanding. Jo has an infectiously fun attitude, and is brimming with small group games and creative ideas that can bring excitement to any situation. Jo is able to bring maturity and respect to this position and treats staff and campers with compassion and dignity. She has a unique ability to disarm those around her with positivity and kindness. Truly a natural leader, Jo is bright and energetic, and we are simply thrilled that she will be helping lead us through summer 2012.
Emily Clark, B.A.
Development Officer Emily Clark has literally been at Scugog her entire life. Growing up at camp, she has experienced being both a camper and a staff member, but she undoubtedly left her biggest mark as a visionary leadership director of the LIT/JC program. Her passion for camp and her belief in its mission shines through her every action. Known for her vibrancy and energy, Emily has a unique ability to envision growth and improvement, and see great potential in everything around her. As a student in Humber Colleges Fundraising and Volunteer Management Post-Graduate program, her primary focus in winter 2011/2012 has been enhancing Scugog's fundraising initiatives.
Chloe Wyman, B.S.W., M.S.W.
Community Outreach Worker, Chloe Wyman is unforgettable to all who have met her. Her compassion and empathy for others sets her apart as she takes individual time for campers and staff alike. A camper since the age of 7, Chloe is aware of the struggles and challenges that are presented at camp, and takes the individual time to ensure everyone's safety and happiness. She is the driving force behind our year-round leadership program, providing mentorship, guidance and counselling to those in need. Chloe is passionate about camping, believing in its power to transform lives, and ultimately the community in which our staff and campers live.
